Maria P. White

Associate Attorney
Maria P. White, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Giuffré Law Offices, P.C, where she focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and trusts and estates. Maria began her legal career working as a paralegal in a prominent personal injury law firm in New York City that specialized in medical malpractice. After working as a paralegal for over 15 years she decided to further her legal career and attended law school at night while working full-time during the day all while being a single mother of three children. Maria’s dedication and hard work are evident in her care of her clients. She is a compassionate attorney who works hard to show her clients the empathy and integrity they need when dealing with some of life’s most challenging circumstances.

Maria attended Manhattan College and obtained a BA in 1995 in History and International Studies. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 2015. Maria is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. When she is not practicing law, Maria serves as a mentor for Hispanic female students who aspire to attend law school. Maria says, “if I can make a difference in someone’s life and help them achieve their dreams of becoming a lawyer, then I feel that I have made a difference in this world.”
